    Site walk

    About 90 minutes on your land. We check soil, rock, drainage, slope, and machine access, then flag a rough route.

    Route plan and fixed quote

    Within 7 days you get a route map, feature list, schedule, and one fixed price. Approve it, adjust it, or keep the plan.

    Build and ride-in film

    TX Trailcraft builds it to the THCMTB design. Once it's dialed, we film the first laps with ground cameras and drone. You keep the footage.

Trail design and builds

Pump tracks, jump lines, and singletrack in the Texas Hill Country

Hill Country dirt is limestone, granite, cedar, and caliche that sets up hard in August. We design for that ground and put drainage in the plan from the start, so the trail holds up after a storm.

We promote and film Hill Country races

THCMTB handles trail design and event promotion at Spider Mountain in Burnet. We film course previews, race days, and recaps for Hill Country Downhill and other Texas events, then cut them for YouTube, Instagram Reels, and Shorts.

Questions we get first

How much does a backyard pump track cost in Texas?

Our backyard pump tracks start at $6,500. Size, dirt hauling, and equipment access set the final price. Larger natural-surface public tracks commonly run $10,000 to $30,000.

How much does it cost to build a mountain bike trail?

Most Hill Country singletrack runs $9 to $14 per linear foot. Heavy rock, steep slopes, or hauled-in material push it higher. The site walk gets you a fixed number.

What happens at the $250 site walk?

Who builds the trails THCMTB designs?

Do I need a permit to build a bike trail on my property?

Dirt trail work on private land in unincorporated Hill Country areas often needs no building permit, but HOA rules, city limits, floodplains, and conservation easements can change that. We flag these during the site walk. Confirm with your county or HOA before the build.

Can THCMTB promote and film my race or event?

Yes. THCMTB handles event promotion at Spider Mountain in Burnet and films course previews, race days, and recaps. Send your event date and location for a quote.
