FAQ
Questions we get first
How much does a backyard jump line cost?
THCMTB jump lines and skills yards start at $4,500. Feature count, dirt hauling, and equipment access set the final price.
Can a jump line grow as riders get better?
Yes. We size features to your riders now and plan room for bigger lines later, so you can add on without rebuilding.
What happens at the $250 site walk?
We spend about 90 minutes on your land checking soil, rock, drainage, slope, and machine access, and flag a rough route. Within 7 days you get a route map, feature list, and fixed quote. The $250 is credited toward any build over $5,000.
Who builds what THCMTB designs?
THCMTB designs the route and features. TX Trailcraft, our build partner, does the construction.
Do I need a permit to build a bike trail or pump track on my property?
Dirt trail work on private land in unincorporated Hill Country areas often needs no building permit, but HOA rules, city limits, floodplains, and conservation easements can change that. We flag these during the site walk. Confirm with your county or HOA before the build.
